Seven of us went to see the Christopher Pratt exhibition at the Bradford Industrial Museum this morning. Although it was only a small exhibition it was really interesting and brought back many memories! We followed this by a lunch in Saltaire on the way back.

We celebrated our 50th birthday last Monday with a party. Unfortunately because of the freezing temperatures several of our members weren't able to get there and they missed out on a really good celebration. We had nibbles, bubbly, quizzes, entertainment in the form of singing by some of the committee with a bit of drama thrown in! And a birthday party isn't complete without a cake (which was made and iced by two of our members) with candles which were blown out by two founding members of Harden WI - Jean and Janet. We then surprised them with a presentation to commemorate their 50 years membership. Plenty of photographs were taken and as soon as I get them I'll post them on the website. 

This photo has recently come into my possession of our President, Gaye, standing proudly with the gold chocolate medal she was awarded at our Annual Meeting in December!! And very well deserved it is too. The amount of work she puts in to make sure everything runs smoothly is unbelievable!!
